CB's The Sunless Citadel v3.5 OOC

Argent, you are so busted! How many alternate screen names do you maintain? ;)

It's true, "Argent" isn't a player in this game. The players in this one number: Boddynock, hafrogman, Strahd, and Tailspinner. Since Argent is playing the Ro7P with Strahd, and both Tailspinner and hafrogman are on the other Ro7P team, that leaves Boddynock.

OK, Boddynock/Argent, the jig is up! :p Confess!
It took everything I had not to make a new profile called "So NOT Argent" And posted here.

I was actually thinking of going a little more feat crazy than that. :heh:

Fighters would get one feat at every level. For the levels at which fighters already get a fighter bonus feat they would still keep that bonus feat and would add my homebrew extra slot to the mix. And would keep the PHB-subscribed feat progression of 3rd, 6th, 9th, etc...

Non-fighter characters would get one feat at every level except for the ability stat boost levels--4th, 8th, 12th, etc. Non-fighters would also keep the PHB-subscribed feat progression of 3rd, 6th, 9th, etc...

Um, okay. Now color me confused.

You're talking a feat every level, except for multiples of four, PLUS the original every three feats?

So it would look like the attached chart?

Now my only problem is this: Since we're in a PHB only game. . . how long before we simply run out of feats?

I'm all for continuing past the sunless citadel, whichever way we talk it. As long as you're up for it, I'll be here. Hmmm, that'll be a lot of feats by the time we take on Asherdalon.

Yeah, your chart is correct. There are, what, over 100 feats in the PHB? Some of them won't be useful to every class (like, for example, a fighter wouldn't take the metamagic feats), but even so I don't think we'd have a problem with running out of choices. I could open up things to other sources, but the point of the experiment would be to see how the PHB feats operate. There are still feats in the PHB that I haven't ever seen put in play. And that's even with me doing a lot of gaming over the years that we've had this edition. It's a pretty loopy idea, I know, but I'm curious.

OK, now that I saw the chart hafrogman made I'm in for it

I'll think on what I want some. Will mull the feats thing over and get back to you guys.

Thanks for the head's up on your upcoming absence, Strahd. Shouldn't be a problem.

Harr, sorry that you haven't been able to keep up with the game after joining. We haven't heard from you since the end of November, and you haven't responded to the e-mail I sent to you in December, so it seems reasonable to conclude that you aren't keeping up with the game. I'll be 86ing Korgrave in short order but will resume full-time NPCing of that character until such a time as I write him out of the story. At this point, I do not intend to introduce the PC you created for this game (Starre, I think her name was) when I introduce Kaeleen for Tailspinner.

This is the last bit of my downtime with my husband before he returns to work. Posting on my end has been sparse, I know, but it'll return to normal after the 30th. Thanks, and see you all after the weekend.

I'll be working on busting out posts today, tonight, and tomorrow afternoon. Off and on as my day permits. I've got the regular household and child duties to tend to that I normally have on a daily basis, plus my infant has a doctor's appt on Wednesday morning. In between, however, I'll be around to post. Thank you all for you patience in waiting while I was away enjoying family time. :)

Power's been in and out here. We've been having 30+ mph wind for three/four days now, up from Kona. Not usual for us. Trees are down and the power cuts in and out. A couple of times I've lost a post I was working on, and yesterday we had no power for half the day. I promise I haven't abandoned the game, I'm just kind of waiting for the storm front to finish what it's going to do and for the power to quit surging.
