CB's The Sunless Citadel v3.5 OOC

That sounds fine, Strahd. I can't remember, for this game, whether I'd originally allowed the Complete series as source material but Improved Toughness is one of the more benign feats from that book. And as we've all been playing together for over a year now, I'm comfortable having you take that feat. If the rest of you want to make use of non-core WotC material, that's fine, too. I don't own a lot of WotC source books for 3.5, but for info I don't own it'll probably suffice if you and I correspond via e-mail on the subject, if need be.

Thanks, I'll brief the feat
Improved Toughness - "You gain Bonus HP equal to your HD"

Hi, CB. I've levelled up - Elyan is now a 3rd level bard. I've given him Weapon Finesse (many of the feats seem suboptimal, given his blindness) and he can now cast Cure Light Wounds!

I rolled well for hp - max 6 - so his hp total is now 18. However, I'm not clear what his current hp are - my character sheet showed 4, but I thought he'd received some healing. Do you have a record?

Cheers.

Elyan took 4 points of damage from a goblin just prior to the battle with Calcryx. Kaeleen healed Elyan for 4 HP immediately after. Assuming, then, that Elyan was at full HP at the start of the battle with Calcryx, he took 2 HP of breath weapon cold damage two different times from the dragon for a total of -4 HP. Elyan slept enough after the battle to heal back up 2 HP. You guys slept a second time within that same 24 hour period; I allowed bard spells to be restored but ruled that you couldn't regain additional HP because you'd already healed HP once in a 24-hour period. Elyan should therefore be down by -2 HP. If you just rolled HP and he now has a maximum of 18 HP, he currently should have 16/18 HP.

After re-reading the entire IC, I have Grotzkoshter at 13/14 Constitution. He's still down 1 pt of Con damage from the stirge (talk about long-last effect from that encounter!). For HP, I have Grotz at 10/18 HP (inclusive of Con damage, damage done via combat, all rest, and all healing from Kaeleen--and Kiaphas, etc).

Please note this tally reflects Grotz and 1st and 2nd level and does not include your recent level-up to 3rd level (and the improved toughness feat you just took). You'll have to add in improved toughness to the tally I just gave you.
