Q: I assume I can take the AoO with the tail - can you also take a Standard Action attack with a tail (i.e. would I have dodged an AoO if I'd stayed 5' back and attacked with the tail)?

OOC: Yes, you can take standard actions with the tail, but the attack roll is still lower than the bite because it is a secondary attack. In this case, you can bite with the AoO, so I assume JJ does that.

JJ misses the AoO (rolled 31-4).

OOC: For the same reason, wouldn't Livox bite for the AoO? Also, I'm curious if there are any effects in the arena. I figure that I can spend my free time analyzing the fighting between LE/CG and NE/NG.

OOC: That makes sense. I just assigned the same type of AoO as before. Livox must be confident enough with his tail to use it instead of his bite. Yeah, that's it.

I think there are some walls of iron somewhere. Ugulu, can you help me with that, as well as with anything else I might have forgotten?

the walls I have don't look right, but they enclose the S and E sides of a box 15' in the nw corner of the VZ, there is also a 5' wide 20' tall on the west side of the box.

He moved, but he certainly didn't move away. I was gonna ask why you even moved, but now I realize you must have had something wrong on your spreadsheet. JJ was at 80n60e.

Bite is in range, which of course means it provokes a tail slap AoO. Not like the poor lil' blue has a chance to hit though.

Need an explanation of how Livox, from 55n105e, got an AoO at JJ, who started at 80n60e, breathed, then flew away. ?????
