D&D 5E Challenge: how long does it take to create a 1st level PC?

I had to make a number of PCs for my players before our first session. At first level, I think I was able to make a stock rogue, barbarian, and illusionist in about an hour. That includes all character building and typing up the character stat blocks into RPGTO character tokens.
