Character Sheet Released

Also, I didn't see that anyone pointed it out yet: paladin defenses are +1 to all--so Corrin is correct, and the KotS paladin (and the PrRC) are wrong.

Good to see - I was reluctant to make the halfling +1 Reflex (the change over was made in v2.2). I'll update PrRC so Paladins get +1 to all three, and halfings do not get +1 Reflex.

Add the +1 defenses missing from KotS Paladin to the list of errata.

What I find interesting is that this is probably Sara Girard's PC, and she's said that she doesn't really use her Intimidate skill, but she likes having it there for the purposes of getting into the role-playing of the character. It's almost a shame to not put that +20 bonus to direct use. Even if it should only be +18.

Here's the attached sheet blank. Note that is is NOT a perfect copy. I used Photoshop for a quick 5-minute chop job:

-If only it didn't have all the character info on it. :) I would like to print that bad-boy up! I really like the lay-out of it!

...amazing what you can do with Paint Shop Pro and a lot of patience, ain't it? Strictly for oneself though, until we can buy the sheets! :p

There's way too much crap on there that I just don't need during a game session. For instance, I don't need a list of Feats if their effect (e.g., +1 Ref vs. Blasts) is already factored into the relevant sections of the character sheet. I don't need a full AC breakdown - just the AC.

This is too busy for the game table and insufficient as a Character "Work Sheet". I'd prefer two pieces of paper - a full "Character Work Sheet" which has a spot for everything you need to build the character and a "PC Quick Reference Sheet" which only has the stuff you actually need at the table.

Yeah umm... workspace? Really? I prefer not to be reminded of office jargon while I'm gaming. Maybe thats just me.
Nah, that's not that bad. But for "workspace", I want a lot more "space" for notes, scribbles, short-term modifiers.

Cheers, LT.

Sucks we can't see the back, but I'm thinking it's just equipment and powers (which is why we can't see it, I think).

I like Neceros' sheet better. And I'll be making one of my own based more on that.

With all of the stat bumps, it makes you wonder how many high level fighters will have heavy armor. If I can get a +4 light armor, and bump up my dex along with my strength, then I'll start having a better AC (and reflex defense) going the lower armor route.

IIRC, sometime ago I read that high level fighters had a class feature ( feat? ) that let them add Dex to AC when wearing heavy armor.
I'm not sure, though :)
