Favored enemy choices

Thrallin's hopin' fer some Vermin, eh? Jus' use yer boot -- don't waste a "favored enemy" on it! Go with Drow.

(Did you, th' DM, give him some help in this decision? It would be a real downer not to run into lots of yer favored enemy......)

I didn't help him, but vermin is actually a much better choice than either drow or undead, given my track record. Me likes the spiders.

It's like this, Nail.

Rune has these giant spider minis that he made out of pipe cleaners and colored cotton balls. He made one the size of a small dog and threw it at me the other day.

Needless to say, I screamed like a girl.

But then I said to myself, "I should take vermin as a favored enemy."

That Bastard.

What's even more horrifying about said spiders, they were put up against minis to combat, and were intended to be proportionately as large as houses in his Oriental Adventures in The Dream campaign....

He took to throwing them at me as well, unable to surpress his bastardly urges especially considering I'm an arachnophobic. I, too, screamed as drunkadelic did (I having more of an excuse being a girl and all). Only I threw them back in retaliation, and he quickly ran to make sure his precious babies and instruments of PC-IC-OOC torture were not damaged in my counter-attack.

Drunk shoulda known better, going up against someone evil IRL, who draws his powers from the insurmountable terror that is the Crack Monkey, that in a game he would use your entire character sheet against you.

(Crack Monkey: Real name, Darienne. She's a black cat with white armpit hair and .... Well, white hair elsewhere that has Bruce Lee manueverability and yells and Jackie Chan style flips and kicks to accompany her mad Wuxia skills. She also makes players roll 1's and 3's if they rub their dice on her tainted fur.)

Priceless......

Drunkadelic, seems as if y'should use th' wuxia cat on Rune if he starts throwin' a lot of drow at you. And remember, now that he's said he doesn't use 'em, you should expect to see lots of 'em. Drow, that is. <EDIT: Drow, being spider relatives...>

Get the cat ready.....

That's not quite accurate. Most of the spiders that over-ran the city were only twice the size of the PCs. It was just the colossal mother-spider with the eggsac that was the size of a house.

Heh heh heh. Level 4 party, too. They didn't engage in combat with the colossal spider, instead running like hell and letting it eat mooks.

Good idea.

Like the cat would actually work, Nail. He probably draws his power from its heinous sinister hyde.

Any spider larger than my pinkynail unnerves me.

-Bianca, who is anxiously awaiting returning back home for her trip for more role-playing.
