Sune's Heartwarder from Faiths and Pantheons is good for a +5 Inherit charisma bonus also but it's really not that unbalanced to consider them a racial bonus and neither did my DM when he ruled it that way.

That's 'tome', please. I don't even want to think about a Tomb of Health.

Reminds me of an AIM discussion I had with one of my players...

"Can I find a tomb of Con +5?"

"Sure."

"Really?"

"Yup."

"Really really???"

"Yup."

"A tomb of Con +5? Are you serious?"

"Yup."

...

He didn't get it until the next session : P

I believe that sums it up for your actual Charisma increases using WotC products. You might be able to devise some items that give you Sacred bonus to Cha or something, but that is a bit iffy.

The Command armor special ability from Defenders of the Faith grants a +4 Competence bonus to Charisma.

Make sure you get the right one. The Command armor special ability from the Arms and Equipment Guide grants a +4 Competence bonus to Charisma checks... which is actually a bigger boost for turning and feinting and Diplomacy than the DotF version, but nowhere near as good for Divine Might or Save DCs.

Of course, as the more recent version of an item, it also counts as erratta. Meaning that all armor of command grants bonuses to charisma checks. The armor of command from DotF was pretty much as broken as the vast majority of the armors from that book. Somebody was asleep at the playtesting wheel that night. :)

And hide from him the fact that you know that the armor has been updated.

It's why you clearly label it "Command [DotF]" on the character sheet.

After all, unlike Expert Tactician in Song and Silence, the A&EG one doesn't say "This version supercedes the version previously published in XXX".

For the Command armor, or for the Screaming weapon, or for the third different version of the Fullblade, or...

Yeah, I suppose if you want to bend the rules, you're fre to. Better hope the DM doesn't find out you're effectively cheating though, or you may find yourself out of a game.

Personally, I prefer to just be honest and not have to worry about it. :)
