I have a recipe for a fudge truffle cheesecake which might qualify. It's been a long time since I've made it, but I recall it as being approximately as dense as a neutron star. Much more chocolatey, though. And yes, as far as cheesecake is concerned, the denser the better for me.

I'm intruiged by your ideas, and would like to subscribe to your newsletter...

Somehow I didn't expect a thread about cheesecake to be about actual cheesecake. :D

Both are good.

and No.... it is impossible for the Hive to avoid double meaning. It is in part within our encoded DNA matrix.

Raspberry chocolate cheesecake is good and Olivia cheesecake is good.

I like cheesecake, but I'm picky about it. I don't like a lot of fruit or syrups, I want it plain.

And only original, chocolate or amaretto (or the kind you find on the cover of fantasy novels) for me, thanks.

Yellowcake? You don't want to eat THAT!

But seriously...

I'm originally from New Orleans, and in my circle of family and friends from back there, the cake of choice is white (or yellow) with a pineapple filling and a buttercream frosting.

OTOH, having worked with a caterer, I've also learned the joys of marble cakes (yellow & chocolate swirled together) and Piña Colada cakes.
