Chicago Gameday IX is 10/23: Planning thread.

Checked our schedule. Any of the discussed dates (Oct 23, Nov 13th or 20th) work for Games Plus right now, but I personally lean towards October. (I don't want to wait that long.) Let's get this thing going. Any other problems with any of the dates before we decide?

Running a game at gameday

Hey guys,

I would like to run something...

I have a couple ideas in mind

1. World of Darkness (The new White wolf game).. "Step into the Dark” My own adventure, and intentionally ambiguous. WOD (Not WOMD) will be an introduction to the world of darkness game system. Thought i would try it out if you guys would want to give it a try.


2. D&D (Eberon) - "The great Train robbery" My own again.... A group of criminal masterminds plan to rob the Electric rail. You can either play the role of the Criminals or the defenders of the Electric rail. (My vote PC=evil criminals)

Let me know what you all think... You can either post here or contact me through email..

I would like to run in the evening slot... If we play the Eberon it could run over time a little.

Hopefully, you won't have to wait another year to make a Gameday. Also, now that we have October 23rd set, we can work on games. I do have a question for thalmin: How much help will you need on October 16th? You and Games Plus have been great friends to the Gamedays, so I think we need to return the favor. (Plus a great way to get people onto the boards.)

I've reserved a spot for you in the afternoon, Halma. Given the traffic so far on this thread, you may want to simply choose whichever game you'd like to run most. I'd imagine you'd get a slew of people to sign up for an Eberron game, though.
