Cleave and a maneuver

Bo9S question.

PC does a maneuver that does +2d6 damage. In doing so he cleaves. Does the +2d6 damage apply to that attack also?

If you deal a creature enough damage to make it drop (typically by dropping it to below 0 hit points or killing it), you get an immediate, extra melee attack against another creature within reach. You cannot take a 5-foot step before making this extra attack. The extra attack is with the same weapon and at the same bonus as the attack that dropped the previous creature. You can use this ability once per round.

Unless it's one of the maneuvers that says the extra damage applies to every attack you make in the round, I say, "No."

Depends on how the maneuver is worded.

If it's, "As a standard action, you may make one attack at +2d6 damage ..." (or similar), or "Your next attack gains +2d6 damage," then no.

If it's, "Do X; all attacks this round gain +2d6 damage," then yes.

It depends on the duration of the maneuver. Boosts typically last long enough to affect all of your attacks in a round, so Cleave would benefit. Strikes are usually instantaneous, so the Cleave attack wouldn't gain the maneuver's effect.
