Cloaks of Mulmaster

i need as much info as possible about the cloaks of mulmaster. i have read about it in forgoten realms but is there anything else you may be able to tell me.

I looked through an older supplement and didn't see anything about this group. The 2E campaign setting discusses them in almost exactly the same words as the 3E version. The "Ruins of Zhentil Keep" supplement mentions them a few times (where they are known as the "Red Cloaks of Mulmaster" or simply Red Cloaks).
