CoC: Delta Green. I need some info

I have always wanted to run a Delta Green game and about half way through the campaign have Great Cthulhu rise from R'lyeh and then turn the game into a post apocalyptic End Time game. Just having the PC's trying to survive through the return of the Old One's would be a blast.

End Times is super nifty and dove tails nicely with DG. I really ave enjoyed most of Chaosium's small pressing stuff. The individual chap books for DG (Machinations of the Mi-Go, et al), are pretty sweet as well.

Feh. IMO CoC d20 is just one big debacle. When it was released it was well received (seemingly by everyone except the BRP diehards), and then mis-managed into obscurity. The system is no longer in print or supported by Chaosium. Even Pulp Cthulhu -the d20 "setting" is going to be released BRP only. Since the game was produced under license from Chaosium all the rules are closed content, which means if Chaosium wants to kill CoC d20, then it's dead.

As for the d20 vs. proprietary system argument - well that a whole other can of worms. Personally, while I enjoy d20, I like to see "house" systems continue to flourish 'cause there are some real good game systems out there that are fun to play and drive their games better than d20 could.
Interesting. I hadn't followed that. (though I did note that I couldn't get D20 off Amazon).
If Chaosium has decided to nuke Cthulhu D20 that would be a shame. On the other hand they aren't the richest publishing house in the world. So I can understand them wanting to focus.

For every game system out there with a novel story-impacting system for representing characters, resolving actions, etc. (Over the Edge, In Nomine) there are a lot more where the system doesn't add much (or is clunky and gets in the way).

And this thread has the latest from Eos. It sounds like work is basically done on the book and some fellow named Scott from Pagan will be picking the actual sell date soon.
