D&D General Comic Relief Plays D&D

British comedians Nish Kumar, Sue Perkins, Ed Gamble and Sara Pascoe will be playing Dungeons & Dragons on Friday, 8th May at 7pm, rising money for charities responding to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.

The DM will be Paul Foxcroft of Questing Time.

I made it through about 45 minutes. It was funny enough, but mostly served to confirm my pre-existing opinion: D&D just isn't a spectator sport.

Because this turns out to be BST, and I, in the middle of the afternoon on the East Cost of the USA, come to double check on the event time... I note that it has been running for nearly two hours already....

I didn't remember the time at all, which is why I came to check. If the time zone had been prominent, I likely would have at least remembered that, and checked earlier.

Sorry. British person on a British website posting about British comedians doing a live show for a British charity. That somebody might assume it was in American time isn’t something that even occurred to me! My apologies!
