I'm working on it right now. I had the idea of a hobgoblin band that worked with a Gauth, a smaller version of the Beholder. Right now I'm working up a little background on the band, and statting up some of the key players.

Request: A creature of at least large size that appears terrifying, but is actually only CR4 or so. And a Creature of CR7 or so that is at least small (preferably tiny) that is a real threat.

You can obviously see where I am going with this encounter. The little guy uses the big guy as a distraction to do the damage.

One final component to the request - don't make it too tough to find a mini to at least modify for the encounter

Oh this one is easy:

A moon rat sorcerer with silent spell and his boots of flying'd ogre patsy, who has been trained to move his arms around in convincing patterns. Its the poor man's ogre mage (only it apparently keeps casting spells even after they kill the ogre...)

I'll stat them up later today.

I am looking forward to it - that's perfect and by chance really fits well into my campaign.
