yes far too difficult this poll - especially as you didn't include Darth Vader and by adding in "El Mariachi" along with Max, Han, Indy and No name its practically made it impossible!

um as such I'll say Itto Ogami

It was a tough choice. I voted for The Man With No Name, but could have easily gone with Sean Connery (the only Bond, James Bond), Indy or Han.

Well if I could I'd have cast my vote for Marty McFly from the Back to the Future trilogy, because as a hero totally out of his depth, he has few equals. Sadly though he was not an option, so I went with Indy.

I much prefer Lee Van Cleef as "Colonel Mortimer" in "for a fistful of dolars".
Myself I prefer Tuco Benedicto Pacifico Juan-Maria Ramirez, AKA The Rat, AKA The Ugly.

Maybe it's just my love of Chaotic Evil characters, but this guy is one of my favorite rogues in any movie. And really, what better picture of a man can you have than when Joe and Tuco ride out from the mission after Tuco's confrontation with his brother. That has to be one of the best character development sequences ever made.
