D&D (2024) Counting the minutes to get the PHB 2024...

I had a laugh at that, so thank you.

But the truth is - I haven't been in this business for 30+ years by doing that sort of thing. I'm far too busy at work to have any time to look at it beyond maybe a quick flip-through on my break (which usually consists of wolfing down some food and going back to work).

Back when I worked at a game store we always had some game, usual a war game going on at a table right next to the register to help promote new games and for something to do in-between customers.

Well, I’m no longer getting the maintenance notice on my DDB iPhone app; it tells me there’s a new update to the app, and redirects me to the App Store. But the new update has apparently not been pushed through yet.

Heh, so the third person in the artwork with Raistlin and Caramon is Kitiara, even though they never adventured together after the test that changed his skin color.

ROFL. The art with the cartoon characters specifically mentions Sheila as being in the picture, even though you can't see her. Using the cloak, I assume!

I just picked up my copy (Pegasus Games, Madison, WI). I ordered the alt-cover.
And one of the first things I noticed - dark text, very light colored background, good text size, highly readable. Man, it's hard to imagine I'd find that quite so important but THANK YOU, WOTC for making those choices.

Interesting, that they already have the "free rules" available.

And, as it was mentioned earlier by the Beyond staff "Species" now replaces "Races".

Oh, well this kind of sucks - Only the Cleric, Fighter, Rogue & Wizard classes are free for the basic 2024 rules - compared to all the classes (save Artificer) for the 2014 rules...

anyone see an easy way to replace your 2014 spells with 2024? or do I need to do that one by one for PCs....
