D&D 5E (2014) [D&D 5e] Planescape- In Through the Out Door (Full)

I like mostly not knowing what he is saying and think goat unit should keep on keeping on. I only asked ooc in that case because he mentioned the word ghost and Lili would react to that certainly. If I was more adventurous I should have just reacted anyway, but I don't want Oz and Lili to completely write off the group just yet ;) I think he did it perfectly and since we just started I am totally fine being fish out of water. No complaints here.

I like the Sigilese rather a lot and want to see it stay. I don't have trouble understanding it. I may elect, however, to have Picayune play at non-comprehension in the IC because, well, it's fun.

So let's a take a party vote: who's up for a little break from the open-ended strangeness and would like some clear decisions to be made?
This is a separate question that I almost missed. I like the open-ended strangeness. I wouldn't change anything about how you've chosen to have us interact with the setting. I joined this game largely in part because you offered magical realism, and thus far you have delivered.

My character, once its introduced, is going to be clueless regardless (in every sense of the word), with a lot of "I am Groot" going on initially. So, I'm groovy regardless. :)

Aww, thanks.

I really am enjoying this game so far, and I hope you all are too. Thank you all for coming along for the ride. More to come, believe me.

:D

I am working on a few potential avenues for how and why the players might come across Drone in the city, but I don't want you to feel left behind. Is there anything you want to set up in the meantime? Maybe an NPC you want to establish as part of your introduction?

My thought was that the group would find Drone inactive and dumped somewhere - a ditch, a trash heap, or where-ever seems most likely. I imagine bizarre things often end up in Sigil's trash dumps. ;)

Well, there would have to be a trigger of some sort to wake Drone up. One of the PCs accidentally kicking it or knocking it over or the effigy passing through it or maybe one of the PCs intentionally activating it out of curiosity. I imagine its been lying there for a while, unnoticed.
