D20 Modern and Darkmatter

Anyone out there running/planning to run a Darkmatter D20 game. I love the setting and it seems it would easily translate into D20 Modern.

Just wondering...

I acquired both at about the same time, and I immediately knew that the two would make a great combination. I don't see myself GM'ing in the near future, but in my group, I'm sort of "on deck" to someday run a modern-day game. I have a feeling that we may have to choose between d20M, Spycraft, and CoC, though... it all sort of depends on which one players are willing to buy. :)

Regardless, I'll be using D*M as a basis for the game.

I'm definately in there. Just debating wether to use D20 Mod or buy Spycraft. I have lots of ideas for the three primary aliens, though only one will be truly alien.

The Greys will be a future evolution that has traveled back in time with Psi powered technology.

The Kinory are highly evolved Velociraptors that use magic ala PP's "Arsenal" (using kobold stats hehe)

Sandmen are lightly cybered humans controlled by one Etiole that traveled here to prepare Earth for further colonization in 2012.

Think that covers it.

I have both books and I've been running through the same debate on another campaign I'm involved in. Although I like the Modern book, I don't really like being forced to take the core classes for three levels before being able to take one of the advanced classes.

What would you say are the con's of SpyCraft, if any. Does it support a fantasy-ish modern campaign. (i can live with the core "stat" classes)

Well, our technology is powered by human prostate glands, you puny human. And your species was bioengineered by ours, strictly for that purpose. Now, sit still while I extract your prostate.
