Damn fool question about Quicken

No, Philomel. Not multispell ... Autoquicken.

Autoquicken affects his spells for free, with no time-increase. So do all of the Auto[metafeat] feats.

Welcome to the Boards, Oin.

Welcome from me, too. Didn't see you were new, I read that as "Oni", which is a long-time member here.

Interesting fact: Oin is an anagram to Oni, which means something like "Fiend/Demon". Dwarves are bad business.... ;)

That's a good enough reason and one that's been agreed on by 99% of people out there. Now clam up already.

I second that.

Now what I wonder is: What if a Sorcerer with Autoquicken wants to cast an empowered Magic Missile? Will Empower increase it to full-round and then Autoquicken will make it a free action (as Autoquicken doesn't increase the casting time), or will the auotmatically quickened Magic Missile have a casting time of 1 full round action due to spontaneous empower?

And can you cast two quickened spells in one round if you forego your standard action? You won't get more than the normal limit of two spells, after all (but quickened spells don't provoke an AoO).

Thank You as well.

Nah, we're good. Just not good with this foolish magic stuff! Why waste time quickening and empowering. It's a lot simpler to just run your axe through whatever problem you have! :)

What if you don't have an axe?

Personally, I prefer to hurl spells around - targetting the areas where it really hurts.
