OOC: She failed the first save thus divulging the deals behind the children. She passed the 2nd save thus keeping schtum.

Kaleth feels the creature push him out of her mind as he asked the second question. If only he was able to extract that piece of information. It would have confirmed his belief that she would not honor any deal that would lose her the children. He opens his mind and contacts only his companions.

I do not think she will honor any deal that would lose her the children.

Kaleth speaks with the woman again.

Idle curiosity, you seem to enjoy the laughter and love of the children. But children grow older even the long lived elves. A childs love quickly turns to the resentment of adolescence. I had wondered if you had planned for such an eventuality.

"Are you implying I would stop loving them? I am aware children grow up but they will not resent me"

Of course you will still love them, I did not intend to imply otherwise. But it would be folly to declare that they will never resent you. You might be correct but given the circumstances there is as good a probability that I am correct. The children have been taken from their parents. Even if their parents had made the deal the child does not understand that. As they grow they will only realize that they were robbed of the chance to know their birth parents. More anger will come knowing their parents let this happen. You would be the only target for this anger.

Kaleth pauses for a second.

I might be wrong but what will you do if I am correct?

"Oh when they are old enough they will know their parents but until then the children are happy, they want for nothing, need nothing" Enid smiles.

Kakeths mind does not detect any falsehood in what she says.

"Not at all we are all friends here. Just do not take to long as the children should really be getting back."

Kaleth nods to Colember and moves off to the side with the man.

She has a plan for these children. I fear that now that she has been discovered she will accelerate that plan. Everything she has done from this point is a delaying tactic. What are your thoughts?
