Dark Fairytale IC

"Or we can just leave and let you deal with the insects yourself. You know, one after the other, again and again, always more of the same." Leonan talks in smothering, heavy monotone. One that only trained entertainer can get right. Yawn inducing.
"You could maybe prevent us from leaving. Or kill us. But that would just bring some other group. Repeat all of this once more. We're willing to help you. But not for nothing. Good day to you." He turns toward the group as if they are about to leave, winking as he turns fully away from the fey, gathering three children that were to return as he goes. "We'll take these three back so you don't need to escort them."

Performance: 1D20+6 = [18]+6 = 24 - for the perfect monotone
Note: Deception, if she wants to call his bluff is also at +6 - if you think she may be tipping

"Pardon me, my lady," says Colember.

Colember pulls Leonan aside and whispers, "We need to be careful here, we either do this peaceably, which means working with her, and having her talk to the parents could make this whole situation defuse, or we are just going to have to draw steel now and strike, as that is our only bargaining chip."

"Yes, your majesty, that is always final option." Leonan keeps moving away, not letting Colember pull him aside and stop him and whispers back "We're not fighting with the kids around. The Lady is gracious, she accepted us in her wood, though she must have known we're here. She needs our help and we, the knights, are helping ladies in distress, right?"
This last part is more for her benefit, just in case she can listen in, little flattery never hurts. But true enough.

Kalveen watches the tense exchange between his lord and Leonan, he could almost feel the dark lady of the wood smirking at them.

Time for a united front.

"My Lord, your orders?" he asks.

Kaleth takes in all the information. This fey was talking in circles. They needed straight answers. Kaleth looks at the fey woman and then touched her mind.

What was the exact deal you made with the villagers?

OOC: Using "Exacting Query" on the Fey. Spending 2 Psi. She needs to make an Intelligence save DC 14. If she fails she needs to answer my question.

There have been many deals. This one."She points to Alissa."Mother was barren I fixed her for the price of the first born".

"This one" She points to a young boy. " Mother wanted love, she found it, at the price of the product of that love."
"And these two" she motions to the twins.Wanted her Husband's attention and she got it at the price of the distractions."

"Why do you want to know? My personal life is my own?"

OOC: Jesus you scared me there! If she failed that save I would of cried. Also sorry for the delayed response I was never alerted to the post
