We're playing Darksun adapted to 5th edition . There are swords made of bone, wood and stone Darksun ?
And weapons like Javelin , spear ?
There are bows and crossbows IN Darksun ? From what materials ?

I dunno, pretty much every culture has worked out how to make a bow, regardless of the resources at hand. If there are wood swords, there can be wood bows.

What I have found works best from previous Darksun games, is treat the weapons listed in the PHB as the 'bone' or weak weapon materials. Since magic items are rare and so is metal, just have any metal weapons that show up get some kind of bonus to damage, or are less subject to breakage.

The swords would be wooden shafts edged with sharp stone bits (such as obsidian) or teeth. Do a websearch for "macuahuitl" to get the idea of how they look.

Such weapons are incredibly effective at killing people and animals, the real issues come when you find some kind of hard armor.

Stone tipped spears kill just fine. Wood tips do have less killing power.
Arrowheads are really small, and should be made out of something hard.

Bone tips are really only used when people can't find a suitable rock. Given the plethora of magical creatures running about, I don't think I would dock points for using bone vs stone.

Simple bows are just made out of wood.
Compound bows would require wood, horn, and sinew.

Crossbows, on the other hand, really need some kind of really potent material to hold the power of the weapon. Mind you, they don't really need a lot of metal, just enough for the trigger mechanism, which is about the same amount needed for a dagger.

Given that a good quarter of the threads on the page at the moment seem to be using "doubts" where people used to say "questions" I am guessing this is a thing now, especially since no one says "questions."

Language changes, but I suddenly feel impossibly old.

They're all the same poster, as far as I can tell. One person with dubious noun selection does not a language trend make. Besides, it looks like he's from Rio, so Portuguese is probably his primary language.

Back on topic, I always assumed Athasian crossbows were made of wood or composite wood and horn with horn or bone for the more stressed areas. They'd be larger and bulkier than metal, but would still function. They should probably suffer the same breakage chance as obsidian, bone, and other such sub-optimal materials choices.

I ran across the questions/doubts issue a couple years ago when communicating with my company's Brazilian subsidiary. I had emailed the director down there saying I had some questions on his numbers. I just wanted some clarifications on a few things and he interptrated the word questions as doubt thinking I thought his numbers were bad.

Bear in mind that dark sun creatures are supposed to be highly evolved. If you need strong materials, simply assume that they can be found as part of some creature.
