DCC #8 Mysteries of the Drow (CLOSED)

Rhun, how's the JPM coming? And is anyone able to check Gar's numbers...? I realize I pulled the semi-obscure Magic of Incarnum, but it was something I'd been dying to try out.

And HM, I'm also open to putting together another PC to fill out another group. If group 2 needs a Cleric, I can throw one together in the next couple of days (and this time keep it simpler than Gar).

I would be interested in playing a half-drow. Do we use the FR rules (same as half-elf but darkvision) or the newer ones from the drow of the underdark rulebook (costing a feat, but adding some extras)?

Maneuvers so far:

Clinging Shadow (1)
Shadow Blade (1)
Sudden Leap (1)
Bristling Flourish (1)
Counter Charge (1)

Emerald Razor (2)
Mountain Hammer (2)
Drain Vitality (2)
Hatchling's Flame (2)

Shadow Garrote (3)
Fan the Flames (3)

Obscuring Veil (4)

Shadow Stride (5)

-
Stances:

-------

Planned later

Elder Mountain Hammer (5)
Hatchling's Flame (2) -> Dragon's Flame (5)

Str 12 / 4
Dex 16 / 10
Con 14 / 6
Int 12 / 4
Wis 12 / 4
Cha 8 / 0

Without level bonuses.

Feats:
1 (Half-Drow)?
3 Weapon Finesse
6 Shadow Blade
9 ?

go ahead and use the half-elf from the PHB but lose negotiator and gain darkvision 60' that should be balanced

WD, wanted to give you another Drow-based option.

Crystalkeep's races indicates that the Player's Guide to Faerun(I think that's what they mean by PGF) has a Lesser Drow race.

Here's a bit about the differences.

The Cha and Int bonuses are removed, you give up 120' darkvision for 60' darkvision, and give up spell resistance, all to remove the LA. Those are the major changes from Drow to Lesser Drow.

I didn't know if that accomplished what you wanted, but I thought I'd throw that out there as it may be simpler.

As for an update on me... I'm really lost as to where I am in this thread atm, lol

No Theroc, I want you to play any character you want if there is a role missing I may NPC it and or compensate the group with a little magic (very little lol) the whole point is to make anything you wish and I know your wish list is long lol

Well, like I said, the two concepts that jumped at me when reading this was a Lycanthropic Warshaper(not sure which Lycan type), or a Warlock/Sorcerer/Eldritch Theurge(Basically a Warlock who can place spells on his eldritch blast, or place special invocations on his spells), most likely a drow in the latter case.

Are either of them needed in a group atm?

So anyway, I was running this tabletop game with nothing but non-standard race PCs and the option of pre-gen characters or making your own about a year ago tabletop and starting level was 7, it included a bunch of NPCs between ECL6 and 11. Sooooo..... I literally have a binder full of characters between ECL 6 and ECL 9.
Let me take a day or two and look I might have something to use if you still need PCs HM, I know there's a bunch of different concepts in there I always wanted to try out.
