Hmmm... Since D&D Game day, they apparently changed the Spined Devil's factions from Civilized/Underdark to Underdark/Wilderness...

EDIT: And, as I now see, the Spine Rain now does FIRE damage vs. just regular damage...

Fly as an Ability...

Spine Shield does 10 damage PER ATTACK explicitly stated.

They changed a few things, in these past two months.

One thing that struck me as an insight (potentially) into the RPG and at the same time quite cool was the pair of different attacks the Cliffwalk Archer had. Look like per-encounter shots that can either turn the tide of things (Blood Arrow) or really drive home an advantage (Timely Shot). Presumably these are based on per-encounter ranger powers, which makes me very interested in the Ranger as a player.

Could be, but didn't they also say that Brass and Copper Dragon would be replaced by Iron and Adamantine ones?

Well, well, well, lookey here: Capricious Copper Dragon.
IRC, Brass and Bronze are going to get booted.

Cheers, LT.

The Cyclops with the glaive only has Reach 3. That's also true for his old skirmish stats, but it still struck me as odd.

cheers

I am randomly reading through some of the powers and special attacks and I really like what I am seeing. I hope a lot of this is a 4e preview.

Very flavoursome and balanced. Nice simple attack options and each character is different. Character building will be lots of fun in 4e.

EDIT: Merchant Bodyguard special power looks like a nice feat.

EDIT2: The Warhorse has a nice ability (charger) that I really hope make it into 4e.

Odd that neither the Demonweb Swarm nor the Blade Spider are Spiders...
Astral Stalker is a ...Planar?
There are Beasts and Magical Beasts... would have preferred a different change there.

There is an instance of Radiant damage, which isn't mentioned in the rulebook.
