Haven't they changed the distribution for 4e? My friend and I have bought a few boosters of the new sets, and we keep just getting the same stuff over and over again. It really sucks. I've also read people complaining in other threads that buying by the case no longer guarantees that you get anywhere near everything in the set ...
When it comes down to it I don't buy random boosters anymore. I have so many DDM now that I simply pick and choose a few unique minis from each set and buy them on the secondary market. If I pay $10 for a Skull Lord so what? I could spend 10 times that on the minis and still not get one playing the random game!
Heh. You should check out the maxminis forums for the wailing and gnashing of teeth every time a Dragonborn mini is produced.Players of the dragonborn are getting the shaft. How many female dragonborn? How many common dragonborn? How many uncommon? Way too much empahsis on rare male fighting style dragonborn.
I would love to see the mini sets do stages of PC minis; such as a Heroic, Paragon and Epic version of the same mini. I recall another metal mini manufacturer doing this years ago, and I think it would work quite well with the DDM line. Of course you wouldn't have to do all the levels for one mini in one set, you could stagger them through future releases.

But I do agree with you - I want a lot more dragonborn minis for my game (on the bright side I have found that some of the older 'Spawn of Tiamat' minis work great for DBs - the Redspawn Arcanis, Greenspawn Zealot and Blackspawn Raider to name just a few - no females though).
