Cole Max is a lumberman, accustomed to tough living and carousing as he fells gigantic trees in the forbidden forests of the northern wilderness. A half-breed (he has Indian blood), he began his career as a bucker, a lower paid beginning logger with dangerous jobs. He mostly cut fallen trees into logs. He learned to watch for falling timber, deal with underbrush, animals such as snakes, and with tree logs that snap and buck when sawed. Later, he became a faller when he was accorded as a more experienced logger. He learned to use axes and saws to actually bring down the trees. Cole Max is a rowdy, bawdy man who likes to brawl and carouse when off duty.

Cole Max is a tall man, with long, black hair that hangs savagely to his knees. Muscular and enduring, he is a powerful specimen. He is a hateful man, with a red-hot anger always simmering, ready to explode. He lives to drink and fight and cut down trees or men. He also tends to just wander off when he takes a mind to do so, which brings him to the beginning of this campaign. He wants to be in charge of the loggers, a Bull of the Forest.

Cole Max prefers to fight with an axe, axe handle or bare handed, but has no qualms about shooting people if that is what it takes to win. He has sand and just plain cussedness. He does seem cursed to carry death and destruction with him wherever he goes – so some people have learned to just call him The Doombringer.

I really like the Grim Servant O' Death feat. There was something very Doombringerish about it.

Yep! I should get my character posted tonight. I spent three hours on it last night, but didn't get finished.

Thanks!

That was an excellent game, John! Thanks! Here is the updated character.

Recently he was made a Marshal of Virginia City and brought about the end of the notorious Brown gang, which involved bringing down headless, head-hunting corpses.

Hey, you guys are more than welcome. Wasn't my best game, wasn't my worse and I know some things I woulda done differently all things considered, but not too bad of a first run of a game nobody has ever played before :)
