Death by Caffine

It seems that it would take 218.02 cans of Jolt Cola to put my fat ass down for the count. Much more attainable than the 461.69 cans of Coke Classic needed to do me in. Of course, it would actually probably be a good bit less than what they say - I've given up caffeine since it and I don't get along very well.

Holy crap, though, that Jolt's pretty damn caffeinated!

It would take 592.17 cans of Coca-Cola Classic to put you down.
Sweeeeet, I'm halfway there!

It would take 1.90 cans of Jolt Cola to put you down.
Uh...something went wrong there, I'm thinking. :D (I used to drink Jolt and Southern Comfort--chug all you want, you never pass out, you just eventually die.)

To make it "taste better."

Most diet sodas also have more caffeine than the regular varieties. Coke Classic is 34 mg, for example, but Diet Coke is 45.6. Pepsi One is up there with Mountain Dew. Diet Dr. Pepper is unusual in having the same (relatively high) caffeine content as the regular.

Fear & Loathing at the Gaming Table: The Perils of Caffeine

I don't rightly know how much caffeine it would take to kill me, but I'm working on it ....

I typically consume a 4-pack of Red Bull during each gaming session.

I used to consume a 4-Pack of Red Bull, 2-3 Rockstar energy drinks, and the occasional cup of tea or coffee.

I also used to drink this stuff called CRAZY LARRY; my friend would bring it to the gaming table and I'd trade him a Red Bull or a Rockstar for it.

This stuff was truly evil, and it turned your tongue either bright blue or orange ... depending on which flavor you drank. It also packed a massive buzz.

I never doubted this drink's hardcore credentials. Hell, there was a dynamite-wielding skeleton on the front of the can ... and a fat warning label on the back, telling old people they would die if they drank it.

Craziness aside, I was a little bummed out when the distributor of CRAZY LARRY went out of business. I'll really miss that stuff at the table. It made us feel like truly dangerous gamers.

Even so, I'm glad I managed to reduce my caffeine intake.

That stuff is a hell of a drug ....

It would take 1140.75 cups of Hot Cocoa to put you down.
It would take 550.71 cans of A&W Creme Soda to put you down.
It would take 4563.00 cups of Coffee (Decaf, Brewed) to put you down.

I know, I know, Decaf when you're supposed to be commiting suicide by caffeine? But if I drank caffeinated stuff, the heartburn would kill me first. :)

It would take 331 cans of Coca-Cola Classic to put you down.
It would take 250 cans of Diet Coke to put you down.

Probably because without the sugar people feel less stimulant effect, therefore they increase the caffeine to compensate.

Apparently, it takes ~11,250mg of caffeine to kill a person (multiplying the numbers of beverages needed to be consumed by the amount of caffeine in each beverage).

Mountain Dew has 55mg of caffeine in it, so that's ~204 cans.
Coca-Cola Classic has 34mg, so that's ~331 cans.
Diet Coke has 45mg, so that's 250 cans.
A standard cup of coffee has 115mg, so that's ~99 cups.
