I don't see anyone criticizing them for the delay and fixing the issue. People are criticizing how they managed to screw up the thing they do all the time so thoroughly that they had to preform an uncharacteristically savvy action to fix it.People are criticizing them for doing what's right? Unreal.
Nothing price will remain the sameOuch. Makes me wonder how many copies they're going to have to pulp to correct this - and what it'll do the price.
It's my guess that it is because WotC doesn't have an actual release date for it, Amazon won't allow it to be preordered. It's currently listed as unavailable on Amazon right now. Not preorder.
Honestly, it was coming out too soon after Planescape.as it was.tbh Im glad this is postponed, this is a high ticket item with multiple components, probably one of their most expensive releases; glad they are doing it right and I do not mind waiting for it at all
Quite right. I'm not (too) ashamed to admit that I'm relieved that it was postponed. Three products in a row (and only one of them a "standard" book) were a bit much for me.Honestly, it was coming out too soon after Planescape.as it was.
Yeah, I've seen yo-yos on YouTube condemning WotC for this. This is exactly how they should be responding to problems.WotC have made several mistakes in 2023, some of them huge. This is not one of them.
Production issues occur. No matter what processes and protections you put in place, sometimes things slip though. It happens.
What matters is how you react to it when it does happen, and in this case WotC have done exactly the right thing - pull the offending stock, fix the issue, and accept the pain from the delay.
For this one, I give them credit.
But at some point I should actually stop buying things I might not use.....I have more PDFs than some online stores.....Anyone have the early release? I'm THIS CLOSE to ordering......
