[Delta Green] Operas and Avatars: The Wild Hunt

"No idea, Marcus." Jonathan holds up the vial and takes a look at the substance. "You've got a good eye, Marcus. Too bad you did not end up in medicine."

Jonathan hands the vial to the CSI agent. "Please put this on ice and have it brought to the deceased's destination. I would like to analyze this substance when I get the DNA tests and autopsy started. Thank you."

Jonathan turns to Janet, Marcus, and Sgt. McGarnagle. "What sized radius have the police been combing the area looking for the culprit? If you don't mind, Sgt., would you mind if I look around before the ambulance leaves? I promise not to get in the way of your officers."

OOC: If McGarnagle agrees, Jonathan will look for droplets of blood, bad smells, or misty, vaprous clouds - anything that might indicate where the perpetrator went or anything that is similar to the stories about the first two women who died.

Sgt. McGarnagle comes up with a purse in his hands. "This was found next to the body." He pulls out a billfold and opens it. "The driver's license says that the vic is one, Nancy Hardy. She lives down Wooster Street about 3 blocks from here. Looks like he had a husband and at least three kids from the photos inside the billfold.

"What sized radius have the police been combing the area looking for the culprit?

"I have set up extra patrols of the SoHo area which seems to be where this sick *CED* is operating." McGarnagle looks over at Janet. "Pardon my language." he says with a embarrassed smile. "So far we haven't come up with anything but we don't have much to go on description wise."

If you don't mind, Sgt., would you mind if I look around before the ambulance leaves? I promise not to get in the way of your officers."

"Go right ahead. Just don't go off by yourself. The killer might still be around."

"Sgt. McGarnagle, has an officer been sent to notify the family? I ask because of my concern for their welfare. Her residence is close to the crimescene, although I realize the killer entering her home breaks the killer's normal operandi."

OOC: Where is Hobb's Park. Can't find it on the map. I assume it is close to Wooster Street? Jonathan (er...me) is finally realizing how close in location all these murders are occuring.

Jonathan begins to inspect the alleyway, looking for telltale drops of blood, clothing, or noxious smells.

OOC: I will post a better map of the area and a map of Hobb's park tonight. I just need access to my scanner at home.

Sgt. McGarnagle looks down at his clipboard. "We are trying to get hold of the husband. I will send a couple of officers to the vic's residence to check things out."

The woman's body is placed in an ambulance and taken to the morgue.

Looking around the alleyway does not reveal any additional clues.

OOC: So much for riding in the ambulance. :\ Jonathan will make it to the morgue first thing in the morning then. :)

OOC: Sorry about that. If you want to ride in the ambulance they will wait for you! ;)

OOC: Nah, I assume the absent-minded doctor just forgot about his ride to the morgue when he put on his detective hat!

OOC: I must really appologize for putting this game on the back burner lately. :\ Let's get the game rolling again shall we with the PC's meeting at the morgue the next morning.

You all arrive at the New York City morgue. Dr. R'as Al Gourdie meets you there. His clothes smell of formaldehyde and his yellowish eyes are red from lack of sleep. "Oh yes, Dr. Anderson, Agent Foster, and Ms. Tyler. I just finished the autopsy on last night's victim. Where would you like to start?"
