On the other hand, I have many friends who keep telling me to watch this show.
From the comemricals, I tell them, "No thanks, if I need to watch something bursting with women, it's not going to be on public TV."
I could be wrong though but TV in episodes doesn't do it for me. I think DVD has changed the way I watch because now if I'm interested in something, I just wait for the series and buy the DVD set. No commercials, better picture (I have terrible reception), and often numerous options.
Now that sounds very scary....MEG Hal said:I live for Netflix so series TV is great that way, but I DVR all my TV now and fast forward through commercials, so I get digital reception and no commercials, it is a really good show with that dark feeling of a Twin Peaks, a lot of underlining mystery in upper $ suburbia.
Looks over-the-top, IMHO.MEG Hal said:Anyone else watching?

ABC has this and Lost, they are looking up this year!

As a Drama/Comedy, I far prefer the comedy portion of the show. The drama portion seems boring. Of course, the drama is what actually gives the comedy it's punch. But it is still a Sunday, and I likely will end up watching it because it fits between EM:HE, and Boston Legal.
So far, it hasn't blown me away like Lost has.
I've seen the first two episodes. I really enjoyed the first one - there was a lot of depth along with the humor. I didn't like the 2nd one as much though. It didn't seem to go anywhere...MEG Hal said:Great stories, great actors---very nice show.
