I don't see it as an issue. It's been pondered in LEW to turn an NPC into a PC.

There is a new character posting, so that should be at least one more. I need to edit the thread to approve him, but he was e-mailed before hand.

Yep, he sent me an e-mail to that effect. Brings me up to three so far. I'll wait until this evening to see if the last player in the inn is about and wants to join in.

Do we have/want a character tracking thread such as the one used in LEW? If we don't have one but want one, should I start it up, or do you want that done through the judge account?

I'm getting ready to get started, and I usually store links to all my pc's character sheets in the tracking thread for easy access. I need to check stats a lot. :)

Yes, sorry, I keep forgetting to make one. I'll try to do it in the next few days (or another judge can).

With no adventurers in the inn, are we ready to open the playing field a bit and allow players to create more characters?

We really need a steady stream of adventures, me thinks, or we will have lots of folks in the tavern.

Bit of chicken and egg, I guess.

No chicken and egg problem: we need adventurers first. If other DMs are like me, a significant number of adventures stem solely from wanting to help the poor people stuck in the inn!

I'm not convinced we won't just end up with a glut of adventurers in the tavern. We had trouble getting those we had in their out.

Fair enough... now we need some brave DMs to submit adventure proposals in order to change Bront's mind! ;)

I agree with Bront. Also, I think that if we do lift the restriction some time in the near future, it should be tiered--allow 2nd level characters first and then 3rd level characters later. This will stave off some of the simultaneous influx, at least.
