It's surprising to me that d12 is as popular as it is currently in the poll.

I always found it one of the least useful dice, save when determining hours or months or years of the Chinese Zodiac.

Let me remind you that d20 has 3-sided faces, just like d4. Coincidence? I think not.

Did you know that the d12 as actually a d20 carrying squished d4 to hide its faces?
And that the d8 masquarades itself as a d6 a similar way with square pyramids?
