Did you watch the Superbowl or play D&D?

I haven't watched a Superbowl in nearly 15 years (Dallas was playing.) Every "Great Sunday" I find myself playing D&D or Magic. I was wondering if any of my fellow gamers were the same way? I've had my patriotism and manhood questioned over this!

You're missing the option for both.

I played my regularly scheduled D&D game which ended about halfway through the first quarter or something, then I drove over to a friend's party for the less interestin game. But then my D&D game didn't have commercials, or team color themed cupcakes. Mmmm, cupcakes.

Sunday night isn't our normal D&D night, so Superbowl is an easy choice to make.

First I watched a hockey game that I recorded from earlier in the day while I was out skiing. Then I played CoH. The Superbowl doesn't even have good enough commercials anymore for me to bother with it unless my team is playing.

Even when I was in college and playing D&D on Sundays, we watched the game. This year I got a little tied up with laundry and video games, so I didn't watch the game with my D&D group like I usually do.

Watched (and enjoyed!) the game, of course.

Now that the football season is over, I can play in D&D games that day. During the season there is no RPG-ing on Sundays. That's what Fridays and Saturdays are for.

Played D&D. Wasn't even a question of having to make a choice, since American football bores the heck out of me.

Test cricket, on the other hand, is just totally gripping
