Good point about the half drow skills. I'll have-ta think on that. Maybe just remove it...

But I havn't thoroughly promoted how time in LEW works. Your thinking that your going to have to stop an adventure because a character needs to spend two days to sell an item. That's not the case. Those two days are part of your time in LEW statistic. It informs us judges of whether or not you can join a new adventure this 'period'. I'll explain it in more detail later, laundry calls.

Is this concept of not being able to join a new adventure because you've "used too many days" going to extend to Craft skills?

Having two different skill bonuses would be a good idea, but these shouldn't come from the drow as drow don't have any such bonuses. Like the halfelf, it should be something that originates from their outcast type. How about Survival and Sense Motive?

CS> You confuse me again :p

Let me give a bit about the half-Drow (as far ar Rivenblight goes)

Half-Drow/Hybrid Elf&Drow fall into 3 catagories.
My suggestions for the Half-Elf bonuses are as follows.

1} Outcasts, living in the seedier slums and more ruined parts of the city (remember, a third of Rivenblight fell into a crater centures ago and much lies in ruins and/or disrepair...easy for an Outcast to hide there).
+2 to Survival and Hide

2} Accepted members of a House, though not in high standing among most.
+2 to Diplomacy and Sense Motive, as they are constantly on guard and wary of the motives of others.

3} Spies planted from the Drow who lurk in the Underdark.
+2 to Gather information and Bluff

That get's pretty confusing as racial bonuses. I think the regular skillpoints can handle that. Remember, not all half-elves should be getting Diplomacy/Gather Information either, as some of them live a solitude life.

Also, could we have the HP/level posted somewhere other than in the middle of a general discussion thread? Those are way too big to hold any vital information. Perhaps post them at the top of the character thread.

Thels, I still don't have the time to put together the official rules threads. That's a two hour project, and I've spent the last three weeks with test after test after test after paper after midterm after paper after paper after meeting after conferance after paper.

It'll get done eventually. I just don't have that kind of time at school anymore. If someone wants to type it all up, they are welcome too, but it's not something I'm calling for. There are four people with access to the LEW account afterall.

I would love to help, but I too am in the middle of the midterm rush. I think I have tests all the way through the begining of next week. If, somehow, I can find time, I will do a compilatio of rules, but at this rate I'm going to be pressed for time at least till monday.

Oops, got some crazy confusion going on in the inn backroom right now.
Is Uriel around? This is really his area of the game. I'm not up to date on the current goings on in the inn, so I'm afraid I won't be much help.

Preach it, brother.

Out-of-character, I'd most like to do the Monastery adventure. However, if there's going to be a huge group (I was ready for seven, but not 9+), I'll carry out Velbrik's excuse (and it is just an excuse, since in-character, Velbrik does want to follow up on the orc attacks and has no interest in the forest). On the other hand, I don't want to force Troi to go anywhere you don't want to, nor do I want to end up left behind, so I could just tolerate a massive group.

...that was probably confusing.

If there are a couple people who don't have a strong preference, it might work out for everybody if you'd be willing to split off into the Forest of Ar (w/o Velbrik) or Earling.

For now, I guess I'll just harass the cultists or something while this gets worked out.

Also - I assume I did know about the Forest of Ar? I thought there was a map for sale and a guy advertising it in the inn, but the guy hasn't said anything recently, and didn't the map get pickpocketed from Jack?
