6'4" 235lbs. I am a social chameleon. I can blend into a crowd looking casual (as much as possible, I usually stand out quite a bit when in Asia), or make people walk across the street with my leather jacket and motorcycle boots. I tend to use these abilities to my fullest advantage whenever possible. Not Fabio, but never a lonely guy.;)

And if you wanted to take it one step further - assuming you fit one of these stereotypes - feel free to answer the question:

Why does an interest in DnD seem to also include a disinterest in healthy body maintenance? (Note: you may disagree with the very foundation of this question. If you do, feel free to sound off)

LOL:D 40 plus Lardies and counting...excellent !!! This is a great poll. I voted for the Fat and Hairy one. As I am 5ft7ins, Fat and with hairs in the most strangest of places but not very often smelly unless I have done a mamouth 24 hour DnD session and that means sitting and stewing on my own juices for quite a bit with no AC in a hot Attic, whilst eating and drinking all sorts of junk type foods etc...and then complaining that my posterior is numb. So yes I do fit one of the DnD Body stereo types perfectly. Although I lied on my ENWolrd profile and said that I was of medium hieght and build...Hahahaha !!! More like Short Height and Lard Build. Now am I proud of that...well hell yeah !!....DnD's been my hobby for 18 years and nothing and nobody will make me give it up unless it's me for my own reasons. Has it promoted me into being a Fat hairy Slob...well no, as I would probably be fat anyway as I enjoy junk food and stuffing my face too popping status but I do have friends who play DnD that are mostly of the average body type and I have had a couple who were Gym Freaks and worked out constantly but still found some time to game with us DnD Fatties. So I do not blame DnD for my body type but I do realise that it does fit a very typical stereotype. My family has urged me to diet and I have been on countless diets and my weight has very often yoyo'ed but I do have to accept what I am and what I am clearly not. I weigh 265 lbs now and at only 5ft 7ins that's very heavy, but it is a lot less than 368 lbs that was my highest ever weight about 3 years ago. And yes I used to look like the Michelin Man who had a few too many pizzas. But I am not that big anymore and will probably hover around this weight for a while now untill I can get some motivation to loose more weight. DnD is a great social game and I think that the answer to the question on this poll is that the average player tends to enjoy activities of the mind that stimulate his/her imagination and thought processes and that's why Roleplaying Games may become their hobbies. This would lead me to conclude,IMHO that these sorts of people are the ones that would not be concerned about their body types and are not physically inclined and thus would not be interested in working out or other more physical pursuits. Now, I know that this analogy does not apply to everyone and there are DnD Addonis's out there but on the whole I think this may apply. Cheers All and keep on gamin'...:D

184 cm, I guess about 6-6'1 and 85 kg. which is 185 pounds.

Recently discovered after 24 years, that I actually have to exercise in order not to get a belly. Very surprising...or perhaps I should cut down on the beer.

Oh yeah. Real MEN have hairy backs. ;)

Whoops I voted for the 'big boy' one because of the fact that I scare people walking around at night. Must have misunderstood it.

Back hair like an angora sweater. Spreads from there. Have to trim the hair from around my toes to keep from walking on it. Only the bottom of my feet, my palms and a smallish area around my beady piggy eyes are free of hair. Oh, and my forehead, which expands on a yearly basis. Any day now I expect to proclaim it as a fivehead.

I'm 6'3" and crash the scales at 275 pounds, lotsa flab (but it's a powerlifter belly, ladies, not a beer gut). My job is manual labor and I'm a lot stronger than I look. Celtic ancestry has gifted me with skin the color of Elmer's glue and working night shift for the majority of the last 25 years has heightened that pale shimmer underneath my hirsute form.

Imagine it's a bow

6'1" - 175 lbs

LOL !!! Doh !!....My Bad....I was sure I saw "fat" in the definition somewhere....Oh well must be time for another Twinkie...:D

I didn't see an appropriate option for me...

Anyway, I'm 5'8, 210 lbs.

I've recently lost over 20 pounds.

I've been told (even when I was over 230) that I look like I work out.

I have an athletic build (very broad shoulders, barrel-chest, and tapered waist), but I still have a bit of a tummy, although I'd no longer call it a pot-belly.

I don't fit the stereotype most seem to associate with gamers (white, out-of-shape, stylish males). I'm African American, not exactly out-of-shape anymore, and I've been told that I dress very well. Most people are surprised to learn that I collect comics, game, listen to Romantic-period classical music, study Literature, and date guys.

Down with stereotypes!!!!

:)
