Do you plan to grab the new Star Wars Saga book to use for D&D?

This year, D20 Star Wars is getting a big revamp, including streamlined skills, fewer classes (with the other classes being replicated as class abilities or feat chains) and combat revisions. A lot of people are wondering if this is a glimpse at a possible 4E for D&D or perhaps if it'll just be a good source of ideas for their own D&D games.

How many people are planning on picking up the new book primarily as a D&D/D20 resource?

One of our players said he might run this so I'm definately going to pick it up. Whether or not I mine the book for D&D ideas really depends on what I read. :)

I'm picking it up because Rodney Thompson wrote it and it's star wars. While I think Rodney is a great writer I highly doubt that he's secretly working on 4e or laying down the ground work for it.

There's always the possibility of parallel evolution or Rodney and Owen (it is Owen as his partner, right?) picking up some cues from WotC's thoughts about a (theoretical) 4E. Certainly many of the Star Wars changes, like streamlined skill sets, are among changes people often talk about wanting in 4E and got to a certain degree in 3.5.

The revisions sound great, and I'd love to get it, but I'd need to find a SW game to justify getting it... I already have enough gaming books that I never use!

I'll definitely pick it up, but intend to use it for Space Opera. Although I like the force system as a streamlined magic system, I'm a bit too lazy to extend it enough to be viable for fantasy use.

I originally had little interest in it, but I am intrigued by the streamlined skill system. I think the 3e skill systems is pretty good (and certainly far better than the old non-weapon proficiencies), but it still seems not quite there.
