I wear a watch every day, but I don't really need to since I have a cell phone...and my wife calls me anytime I running late or taking too long with something.

I voted "look at cell phone, PDA, whatever" except for me, 75% of the time "whatever" is my pocket watch. It was my grandfather's, so I use it as much as I can. Plus I don't have to turn it off in a movie theater, like I do for my cell phone. :)

I do need a regular watch, as pocket watches don't go well with jogging.

Yeah, and I have more than one. My cheap work watch, my fancy dress watch, my sturdy workout watch. I use them a lot, too. I recently injured my left wrist, meaning I had to wear my watch on my off-wrist. I kept looking at the wrong wrist to get the time. Then I had the reverse effect when brace came off...

I cannot wear a watch because the weight of it drives me insane.
Also I have an uncanny knack to break any watch within a week of getting it, normally by smacking it into a doorjamb as I am walking thru.

I use the one on my cell for several years now.

I always wear my watch. Even when sleeping, and no, it doesn't bother me in the least. Basically, it isn't a device, it's part of my body. I only realize I have it when the belt breaks (batteries seem to last about forever and a half, thankfully). I hope they make a cybernetic implant watch soon, so that problem'd be solved too.

I can't stand wearing watches.

And I don't carry a mobile or PDA.

... but I can generally tell you the location of the three nearest clocks to anywhere I frequent :)

(If I were King of the World, I'd make it a law that any place of business must display a clock in its front window...)

Can't remember which book it was in, but there was a near-future novel where people had bioelectric tattoos - like little LCD displays tattooed onto their body, and powered by a trickle of energy siphoned from their body. One of the most popular was to have a watch tattooed onto one's wrist...

I absolutely have to wear a watch when I'm out of the house. I hate being late and I like to know how much time it takes me to get places. I don't carry a cell phone outside the house because when I'm on the road I like to focus on driving. [gonna get that bumper sticker 'put down the phone and drive! one of these days] Plus I don't like people always being able to reach me, 24 hrs a day.

However as soon as I come home I have this need to take off all jewelry - cant' have any metal janglies on me. I also have to change into 'comfy clothes'. And then, when I'm home, there's no need to wear a watch because I have the computer. Or, it has me. One or the other...
