Spoilers Doctor Who 2024 (spoilers)

Well, if we ignore the anagram stuff and just go by Susan's surname, Triad, that implies that there are three of them - three harbingers of Sutekh - H Arbinger, S Triad, and most likely Mrs Flood as the third.
Hmmm... if Mrs. Flood's first and middle names have the initials W and L, they can get an "Old Wolf" anagram. Maybe I am just crying wolf....

"The Legend of Ruby Sunday" had too much of this:

Character: "What is that? What's happening?"
Othe Character: "I don't know." OR [wordless shocked or confused expression]

Just over and over.

That my harsh criticism. I really enjoyed most of it in the moment, but by the end the sparsity of actual information was disappointing.

All the talk about Susan (the grand-daughter) had better lead to something.

Been wracking trying to get something from Mrs Flood.
'Drs Fool' or 'Fools Dr'.
Also whether Flood and River are a connection?

Oooooh. I like the fools dr. That’s actually kind of clever.
And I too hope all this talk of the Doctor’s granddaughter leads to something.

Maybe the return of the Doctor’s daughter too?

I rewatched Space Babies.

It left a lot to be desired when it came to the story and dialogue but it WAS well-plotted in terms of using foreshadowing and tying everything together at the end, does do an excellent job of introducing The Doctor (he's the kind of person who gets excited over monsters instead of being afraid), getting viewers up to date with the newest plot points (The Doctor's the last Time Lord), and explaining important TARDIS functions (like the translation ability).

The story and dialogue still ensure it's one of my least favorite episodes this season though.

Is it, though? Naming all your villains with anagrams is clever? Or is it... a bit dumb?

Why would they do that? Darth Vader isn't called "MillFal Conellium" for good reasons. It makes no sense. TRD pulled the same trick with Professor Yana ('You Are Not Alone') -- why would the Master call himself an acronym of a thing that an alien said to the Doctor 11 episode ago? Is that clever? Is that a "plot*?

I dunno. I think the more times RTD does this same thing, the less convincing it is. 'Bad Wolf' still makes no sense, for the exact same reason. He confuses sprinkled wordplay with plot.

Yeah, I can't say I care for it. Like an alien god that inspired Egyptian philosophy would care about making silly wordplays in English. I guess that narratively they serve as the bait for the trap, but it would've been nice to have had some higher quality bait.

In this case though using the name Susan as spite to the Doctor does work for this Millenia old evil that's been clinging to the Tardis.

Beyond that though using these anagrams is silly writer nerdiness, though maybe subverted by being bait for a trap rather than a 'clever' deception.
