(Rimathil has taken 114 of 142 HP dam in last suprise and 1st round combined; ouch - I guess that is what happens when you unlease whoop-@$$ during the suprise round!)

Rino Init 13 rolls behind a tree and avoids several attacks while dealing out 8 points of damage (no sneak attack in this situation)
Argon init. 11 has successfully moved next to A1 and attacks
Jeffrey init. 11 activates the boots of haste and deals 21 fire damage to most of the bad guys
Rumathil init 11 casts a special version of Fire Storm (empowered would take a 9th level slot!) for 50 points (most save) yet all the attackers you see go down. You count 16 charred piles of ash.

In less than 10 seconds the threat is neutralized entirely. With no survivors left to interrogate you are standing in the middle of an ambush site about 10 hours travel from Twin Forks and you seem to be missing one attackers body. When your adrenelaine dies off you are overcome by the stench of charred flesh and death. The smell permeates everything you own. To stand here is almost unbearable. Rimithal's bear comanion immediately moves away from the area in the direction you were heading to leave this scene of unnatural death and the putrid cloud that surrounds. Very few of you are tired and certainly this would not be a good place to rest.

What to do, what to do?

Naglfar, annoyed with his 'Toy' being turned to ash and repulsed by the smell of it all, promptly moves away and uncorks a bottle of Whiskey, taking a swig to wash the taste from is mouth, then spitting it uncerimoneously upon the ground. 'Well, that was distateful.'
Naglfar the uses a Wand to cast Detect Magic , scanning the area and the bodies for anything interesting.

Telustiel watches the lunar landscape he contributed to create until the Haste spell wears off.

"And the Mighty Heroes slew the Brigands with heavy handed Fire Magicks!" exclaims. "You can put that in one of your songs, Argent, after we leave this stinking place. I wonder why we came walking when most of us -I´m sure- can fly, teleport, of both, and carry the few who can´t."

"Anyway, I´m going to prepare and cast a couple rope tricks once we leave this place, maybe there" ends pointing ahead, two hundred yards away. "I think we´re, er, we should going to rest here and tomorrow arrive to Twin Forks, and that spell is quite handy if you want privacy"

Argon says "Silly.. I may be able to fly but I sure as heck can't carry Sasha, mule and cart. Besides, it is more natural for me to be walking on the ground. Easier to detect Ambushes and track as well. Hmm.. I wonder where they came from?" Argon then circles the ambush area looking for the camp or area where the ambushers first met. Then looks for the direction in which they came.

Later, he says "Ouch. Those grunts really took a bite out of me. I could use some healing." He takes out a wand and uses it to repair some of his injuries.

Rino stays hidden and goes towards one of the attackers to look is he carrying any valuables and other thing that might help us to get any information.
