As the Ogre drops and the enemies begin to flee Hunter sprints for a short moment and takes a rapid shot at the goblin fleeing nearest the caves, feeling a small twinge of satisfaction as the bolt hit the fleeing goblin in the back and it fell to the ground.

OOC: Hunter moves 30 ft to F5 and fires his crossbow at the goblin Crossbow to hit: 1D20+5 = [11]+5 = 16 Crossbow damage: 1D8+3 = [5]+3 = 8

If it is still alive, Corwin Moves and dashes towards the hiding goblin and fires his arrow at it.

OOC: Short bow on Goblin: 1D20+5 = [4]+5 = 9 1D6+3 = [3]+3 = 6

Magen lets out a cheer to match Lucious' then complements Mikel and Shara's bravery, "Your actions put you in great danger, but I think that's what turned this battle for us. That was a tough fight for us all."

He looks at Lucious checking the dead, "Lets be quick and grab our trophies. These dead goblins won't bother anyone, but those caves could still be hiding something nasty. I for one could certainly use a breather before checking them out though. Let's find somewhere that we can overlook the caves and bind our wounds."

OOC: Not sure what anyone else's thoughts on a short rest are, but Magen could use one. He does still have a healing potion though, if we want to push on.

As the last of the goblins falls and her companions cheer, Shara just smiles in relief. The beasts would harm no one else this night, and she would sleep easier knowing that.

As she catches her breath and stands up, Magen mentions her and Mikel's bravery, and she responds in kind.

"Likewise, Magen. You took the worst of it for coming forward with us. We're only alive because of you."

OOC: Short rest sounds good.

With Mikel's magic darts and Hunter's and Corwin's arrows, the last of the goblins drop dead. The group quickly gathers up their tropes and setting up there area for a short rest to catch their breath after the fight. The caves are all interconnected but empty except for the rotting meat that they seem to call 'rations' and the latrine situation which seemed to be the back corner of the cave. There are also the skulls of three more humans found in a blood soaked bag. This group appeared to be traveling light and had only set up here the night before.

GM: OK so you have 6 goblins, 5 black wolves and a ogre!!! You can take a short rest. If you are using HD to rest go ahead and roll them. I am not sure if Hunter grants a bonus. Remember if you use both you only regain 1/2 or one back after a long rest

Lucious takes a deep breath before gathering all the kills and beginning the dirty process of removing goblin heads and skinning worgs. He then joins his companions wondering what's next.
