How does that work with weapon specialization and # of attacks per round? DO you get 2 attacks round 1 (sword and dagger), and then 3 attacks turn 2 (2 with the sword, and 1 with the dagger)? that sounds like a meatgrinder character - I like it.
Its ok if you don't have the rules, we will all be learning relearning as we go. First thing we learned that charging means you lose your AC bonus to DEX. - Only a half million more rules to learn haha.

That's how I would interpret it. High str and high dex make for a powerful combination. Now she just has to buy a dagger. I left one of her proficiencies open so I know now what will fill it.
I am liking the 1e combat so far. Maybe this is just an easy fight. I am only rolling 1d20 and not worrying about the modifiers unless the roll is close. Gutter rolled a 16 and with the -2 (to start) I thought it was close, and would have to go figure dex/specialization and all, but the 14 hit AC 6 which was good enough.
I think we can add in other abilities in melee as we advance in the game.
Hmm, kind of regretting my javelin choice now. Charging definitely favours an average DEX, high CON character. Oh well, next one then. I do remember a fairly high turn over of characters.
