Eldritch Thrower

First Post
Hi evrybody, this is my first post. I'm tring to build an Eldritch Knight. Lvl.3. Now instead of a Dueling or a G.W.Fighter I was wandering if I could build him as a 2Wp Thrower. Follow me: 2Wp Fighting says "When u engage in two weapon-fighting, u can add your ability mod to the damnage of the second attack". Now If I'm an Eldritch knight that weilds 2 handaxes(both bounded with me), and I engage with one of them, can I use my bonus action to throw the other one on another opponent, without loosing the mod dmng? And then use my Eldritch Kinght TP weapon to recover my handaxe next round (round 1 throw, round 2 recover)? Then, at lvl4, when i will take "dual weilder", can I make first 2 throw weapon attacks ,with my handaxes already draw out, and then draw out 2 longswords (as part of "dual Weilder" skill) all in one round? Cos I don't understand If "draw out a weapon" is an "action" or a "bonus action" or "part of the attack"... pls help

Hi evrybody, this is my first post.
Welcome!

Yes.
And then use my Eldritch Kinght TP weapon to recover my handaxe next round (round 1 throw, round 2 recover)?
Yes.
Then, at lvl4, when i will take "dual weilder", can I make first 2 throw weapon attacks ,with my handaxes already draw out, and then draw out 2 longswords (as part of "dual Weilder" skill) all in one round?
Yes.

You get to draw one, which the dual wielder feat makes two, weapons as "part of the attack" - any more than that and you would need to take the Use an Object action, which is usually an Action but some features (like the thief feature fast hands) can make it a Bonus Action instead.

Of course, all of these answers assume that your DM will adhere to exactly what the text in the rule book says, and not change anything to be more strict or more lenient (like how I would not be at all concerned if you didn't start your turn with your axes both in hand, and would let you draw them both, throw them both, then draw both your longswords if that's what you wanted to do).

Now If I'm an Eldritch knight that weilds 2 handaxes(both bounded with me), and I engage with one of them, can I use my bonus action to throw the other one on another opponent, without loosing the mod dmng?
Yes, but bear in mind that you would have disadvantage on the attack roll with the thrown axe on account of being in melee.

Hi, welcome!

Drawing a weapon is usually considered a free action (for one weapon only - only with the Dual Wielder feat can you draw two as a free action).

As TWF (under Combat rules) states that it applies to melee weapons and can apply to those melee weapons with the Thrown characteristic, yes, you can throw hand axes.

Longswords are not light weapons, so until you get the Dual Wielding feat you cannot use longswords dual wielded.

Round 1, throw axe A (attack action) and throw Axe B (bonus action).
Round 2, bonus action to summon one of your bonded axes; then attack action to throw it again.

Alternatively, in round 2, bonus action to summon back one axe and attack action to draw and attack with (one) different weapon
(Bearing in mind for round 3, without Dual Wielder, this new weapon will need to also be light in order to allow your TWF style).

Or, for round 2, once DW feat in place, yep, leave your hand axes where they are and draw and attack with 2 longswords as you said.

Until you get DW I'd go for 2 hand axes and 2 scimitars. Because scimitars are cool (also light).

And to avoid the disadvantage Pukunui points out, throw A first, then move to engage at melee range, then bonus action for melee attack with B.

(In my head this whole post plays out as: the door bursts open, the eldritch knight stands framed in the shattered entrance. He spreads both hands wide and - thunk! thok! - two goblins die with axes in their heads. The other goblins close in to attack, slashing at the cowled warrior, before he reaches over his back and draws and slices with a scimitar, gutting a third goblin while his offhand makes a lazy motion and suddenly the axe he just threw at Drobblog appears in his fist, still dripping with brain matter. He smiles. The remaining goblins gulp and make a morale check.

(Of course with DW, it changes to "two scimitars, slashing at another pair of goblins with uncanny speed...once all the goblins are dead, the knight sheathes his scimitars simultaneously. He steps over the bodies, hand out to catch the axe he summons. After a few seconds, satisfied the threat is over, he holds out his other hand and the remaining axe leaps to him. He shakes his head. "Goblins". And walks on.)

Either way, pretty cool.
