Xobru sighs. "Making friends, Hadar? Don't look at me, you were being arrogant. You upset that nice lady and I want you to apologize."

The octopus deflates and with four tentacles makes a pleading motion towards the elf.

"Not to me, brain-of-a-tuna!"

Mildly agitated but grinning despite himself, Xobru picks up the bucket with Hadar and follows the others inside. He places the bucket unceremoniously on the bar next to Lola and gives his familiar a stern look. Defeated, the creature crawls out of the water and repeats its begging movements to Lola.

"Hadar wants to apologize for his arrogance a moment ago," Xobru adds. "He can be a squid sometimes, but he's really a good guy."

If Lola seems to accept his apology, Hadar will grab her hand with two tentacles and shake it gently, imitating the greetings of some cultures.

Theremin joins the conversation, a bit too formal for what the circumstances are calling for "Lady and gentlemen. I would be much obliged if I could join in on your meal. I too wish to share on the discussion" He also adds in an overly formal Primordial, for Vimak "I will be looking forward breaking bread with you, sky lord".

He is genuine, if not a bit out of place.

Vimak climbs down from him perch, tucks it away and walks to the tavern. Every few steps shaking his foot like he is trying to get something off it. He stops shy of the door looks all around, shifts uncomfortably and takes a deep breath before going in with obvious discomfort. He joins the group at the table. Seeing his perch up as close to a window or exit as possible and stroll be art the table.

If Lola seems to accept his apology, Hadar will grab her hand with two tentacles and shake it gently, imitating the greetings of some cultures.

Lola hesitated just a moment, giving the octopus a little once over, before gently shaking his tentacles. "See, I knew you were just the cutest thing ever." Lola laughed heartily at the miniature creature.

"Xobru, was it? You have quite a task on hand keeping track of this little fellow. I wish you luck! Now come and sit and we'll finish eating and drink and talk about... whatever it is that just happened out there."

She nods towards the table where the others have gathered and goes to sit down.

"So... that was fun?" she grins. "Anyone have a clue what that WAS?"

"Mephits, I recognized Mephits. Strange, acting strange. Element, They rarely leave their element"

Vimak whistled at the end of his statement. before beginning to use his beak to clean the blood that had stained some of his feathers.

Jord heads to the bar first asking for plates of stew for all, and mugs of ale. He turns looks the table over, especially at Lola and adds a bottle of wine to the order before tossing a few coins on the bar.

He then heads back to the table, taking up his stump as a seat. "Food and drink are on their way. Now before we discuss the mephits, let us honor the hospitality demanded by the Wanderer, and introduce ourselves? I am Jord. I have recently arrived in the city from the high mountains to the west." since Jord has had the most words with Xobru he nods in his direction to continue, though of courser anyone is welcome to go next.

"Introductions, of course," Xobru replies. "Well, my name is Xobruentyvir Aenovindë, but people call me Xobru for short. Me and Hadar here just arrived in town; we were told this is the place to be, although so far I don't know why. I come from across the seas, where I was a sailor for several years."

He nods, indicating that although there is more to be said, this will suffice for introductions.

Vimak stops cleaning himself for a moment.

"Jord, Xobru Motioning his head to each in turn confirming that he has it right.
Vimak, I am a warrior of my tribe, Vimak. Name, Call me what you will, there is little in my name. Albion, I come from the Mesas, I traveled into the rising sun for Albion"

Vimak glances at Lola when talking about his name, without a mouth his expression is odd to read but his tone seems honest enough.

When done speaking he looks around, seeming to invite another to speak before he continues to clean himself.

As the bar keeper approaches the table, Theremin asks discretely "Water and steamed vegetables for me please"

Continuing to the group, in a friendly manner "As I mentioned outside, I am Theremin, and landed in Albion only a few minutes ago. The elders of my order sensed an alteration in the very nature of the elements, and they sensed that the cause was here in Albion. I was chosen to investigate.". He then looks at the next person.
