"He don't eat no meat?, You don't eat no meat!" Cries Jord "That's ok, bring him lamb" says Jord to the bartender.
OOC: Sorry, I couldn't resist

Theremin looks at Jord with a confused smile, nods, and says "Thank you for your recommendation, but I really was looking forward to those steamed vegetables". It is obvious that he is maneuvering, somewhat clumsily, so Jord does not lose face.

"I suppose it's my turn," Lola smiled easily at the strange collection at the table, "The name is Lola." She paused very briefly here before continuing, "Somehow we all find ourselves gathered here together for similar reasons. I know what those mischievous little creatures were out there, just not why they would act in such a manner, it is not in their nature to do so."

She uncorked the wine and poured herself a glass, then sat back in her chair casually while she swirled the dark liquid in her cup. "It seems we should work together on this. I have nothing better to do. And I'm curious. And you lot entertain me. " For the time being, she thinks.

The bartender, quick to get back to business, serves the food to his only patrons, making sure to bring the Monk his steamed vegetables.

As you move through the streets in the direction of the Temple District, you see people coming out of their buildings now that the danger is past. However, as you get further into that district, fewer and fewer people can be seen. It's not completely empty, but more shops are closed, and there just aren't as many people out and about.

Since the Mephits were defeated, the familiar feeling of elemental chaos has abated, but it is not gone. It softly radiates this area, giving a feeling of chaos and destruction even as you are filled with comfort and belonging.

The feeling is strongest in the Mirrored Temple, the largest structure in this area. It is quiet outside the temple, and there is little destruction from the attack earlier. The only people out are those who are trying to clean up the damage.[/sblock]

Nacay heads to the giant glass structure before him and approaches one of the people cleaning the temple. "Wat happened" the hem of his hood rustles slightly as he grunts at the man.

[sblock=Nacay]The cleaning crew member, a young high elf female, looked Nacay up and down before answering, "The old gods are angry at us, that's what happened. This is their judgment upon us all."

Another member of the cleaning crew, this one a halfling male, stepped over. "Hush with that, Hafira. There are no gods. It's just some vermin that have popped up. Like a nest or something. Don't be spreading rumors."

"It's the gods, I tell you." She answered him. "We have forsaken them, so they are judging us!"

The halfling turned to the...um...half orc, and said "You're free to go in the temple, but you won't find much. It was the first place the watch looked when these things first appeared."[/sblock]

Corlan made his way to the table where the rest of them were seated. He sniffed his nose at Xobru, but ignored the rest. "Now that the excitement has died down, would you like to have that drink?"

Xobru nods eagerly. "Yes please. I'm sorry, is the octopus bothering anyone?"

Before the man answer, Xobru takes the bucket from the bar and places it under an empty chair near Lola, and sits down in the seat. Hadar moves itself onto the elf's lap, looking around suspiciously at everyone except Lola.

"The God's pffft" Nacay snorts as he pushes past the cleaners.

Inside the temple Nacay is slightly taken aback by its grandure, being used to rooms that simply served there purpose. First Nacay takes in everything looking for somewhere to start poking around before taking a closer look.

Vimak looks to Lola bobbing his head up and down. "Mephits, You know the Mephits. Strange, These ones were very strange

Corlan's step causes a creak in the floor and Vimak to look around nervously before his attention turns back to the group. "Element, They usually stay close to their Element. Ice, I haven't seen those ones before, where is the Ice?"

The Mirrored Temple is indeed grand, and lives up to it's name. It is made of glass overlaying pure silver, which is overlaid on stone for structural security. Everywhere one looks, they can see reflections of themselves. The magic of the place makes it so that each person sees a different version of themselves in each reflection, but only sees normal reflections of others.

Nacay looks in the walls of the large, empty foyer. He sees himself, as he once was, before his transformation. On another surface, he malefactors again, only this time as a pure human. Then another reflection, as an orc.

As he walks, other reflections come into view. One where he is made entirely of stone, another of fire, or water, or air. These last reflections seem at odds with each other, shifting constantly, as if the mirrors don't know which one to show at any given time. [/sblock]

Corlan snorts at the seat offered by Xobru, "I was talking to Lola, here. Would you join me at the bar? These ruffians aren't up to a lady of your caliber."
