hey yall-

by the lack of responses, I take it that you all got your books?

I gave in- I really hate my LGS- aftre the good one went out of business, i tried a second. He sukked arse- dont care about business or nothing- just sit behind his desk and play PS2. So- Ihave no qualms about buying online...

So- I bought the $24 (better than $40) and also the reverse dungeon. both are on back order- but the ELH was shipped out this morning (i ordered on fri)

SO- if you guys have not received yours yet- I would think they are fulfilling all the 24 dollar ones first.

Plus- you cant really do anything but get mad cause in the contract (i dont know if anyone reads it, or is it just me) it says that they reserve the right not to fulfill any order. and you clicked "yes" so unless you have lawyer support- i dont think you can win this one through emails...

Noooo, i ordered 2 on the 19th and they have been 'sent to warehouse' since then. Zigmutt, what day did you order yours? Would you be willing to email me copy's of reciepts, etc? If indeed you got yours and we all ordered before you, I think i'm gonna be calling the BBB. Sure they can cancell our orders, but stringing us along till WE cancell and then shipping to people who pay more, thats not cool.

After sending an email complaining about their lack of response to earlier emails, I got this back from buy.com. I had asked for a phone number, customer service supervisor's name, and complete mailing address.

damn hotmail is down right now, as i'd like to see if my order is still being "sent to warehouse". that was an interesting take, about buy.com fulfilling orders for $25 first.

as for getting the BBB involved, i wouldn't go that far unless they've charged my credit card before fulfilling the order. as it stands now, i view it as a real windfall if they fulfill the order at $14. let's face it, someone at buy.com dropped the ball selling it at that price.

still, how they respond to this situation will determine if i ever use them again. if they were smart, they'd suck it up, bend over and take the hit. if they do, they just might have a repeat customer. if they don't, i will give them the same consideration i did before. in other words, i'll probably use amazon or my FLGS.

I also ordered the ELH from buy.com on the 19th. I received an email this morning indicating it is now shipped. I did the free shipping thing, so it'll be 1-3 weeks, but hey, for $14 who cares?

Ordered mine on the 19th too. Got the e-mail saying it's shipped now. 1-3 weeks? wow. At least things are moving. I hope you all get yours.
