I thought of that too. We are ready to kill people to get info on the Xindi, so why should you allow thier spy to be returned. If they are going to be more ruthless now then killing her to prevent her return to the Xindi with info would be the smart thing to do.

I thought it was an excellent episode. In fact, I've really bought into the new season, and find myself, finally, looking forward again to each new episode of Star Trek. It's been years since I could say that.

Exactly what I thought should have happened. If they wanted to make the show edgier, Archer should have given an order for the guard to shoot her if he/she was being overrun or shoot her himself. The writers could have had a field day if Archer had taken the shot himself, but wasn't sure if he had killed her. That action would have left open the possibility of the Xindi still getting the information, but also the girl being killed and the Xindi still lacking what they needed.

This show....every time it looks like it's about to take a very big step forward, seems to hold back almost as if it's written/produced by people too afraid to take much of a chance.

Perhaps this Xindii council has access to tech and such that the rest of their collective race does not (?). Very cool weapons, at any rate. A decidedly good episode just like "Anomaly". A pity that last episode could not be forgotten. Tonight's gets a thumbs up from yours truly.

good point ... I guess this was like the Xindi Spec Ops or something ...

BUT!!! with this kind of operation how hard would it have been to actually just TAKE one of the crew memebers?

or kill one and take him/her?

I guess the thing that bothered me was this was like the majority of last season ... oh look aliens, oh look we're getting our buts kicked ... again

on the flip side, ... man I wish some one would pull out some projectile weapons ... even smart ones that won't explode or pierce the hull.

oooh look, I have a sheild/suit that absorbs energy attacks ... *BLAM!! Xindi/Borg/Whathaveyou guts splattered all over*

(rats, I guess there is the possibility of biological contamination too *wolf reminds himself to stop shooting (hah! pun!) holes in is own observations*)

[edit: you don't think Archer/T'pol got sneaky do you ... and like ... ya know managed to track or sabatoge (maybe t'pol picked up some info during their connection?) the info she took do you? ... probably not, although she might end up being a recurring character who is sympathetic to the humans]

I didn't mind this episode, but it almost crossed over the line between "ST sex appeal" and porn. Two more buttons from T'Pol's nightie with a frontal shot...

I asked a friend of mine if he saw it, and he said he didn't. I told him what happened...

"I SHOULD'VE WATCHED IT!!"

I think she might be a recurring character. As for the sabatoge...interesting to note that the people Rajiin scanned/did her little mojo on:

Hoshi (Though we didn't see it explicitly)
Archer
T'Pol

All have been infected with that Alien virus from last ep. It would be hilarious if the Xindi go through all this only to have bad genetic plans because the above bodies are still trying to return to normal (witness Archer and his rash at the ep's start).

Of course, IF, that is what happened, one can speculate on whether or not Rajiin did that on purpose or it just worked out that way.

That's an interesting theory. Of course, unless she had access to Enterprise's database, how would she have known?

And, of course, if that was a planned plot element, everyone who was complaining about last week's episode is going to have to start eating some crow, aren't they? :D

*with a mouth full of crow:*

mmmmhmmm.

Actually, it wasn't me, but I can hear a few people doing that...

I will eat crow if they do this, but somehow I don't think that B & B are that smart.
