Dreadful Wrath in the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting is better than Frightful Presence. It can only be taken at 1st level (its regional), it isn't HD based, and it triggers every time you charge, full attack, or cast a spell.

I'm going to look into that since a lot of what I nab for my characters is from FR and other campaign settings (they usually have a little more flavor).

Also, at the time of asking the Brilliantgameologists was down and that handbook was "password protected".

i found a feat (Intimidating Presence) that allows one to intimidate (demoralize) a number of opponents equal to your cha mod with no other limitations (like range for skill trick). great for these kind of builds.
