Fighting the Gray Tide (Miniature Painting)

After having bought the rulebook for "Lion Rampant", which my new gaming buddies have already played numerous times, I fancied printing a Frankish warband: unarmored spearmen, armored hearthguard infantry, mounted hearthguard. Can't wait to get these started...

Those are great looking prints.

Broken bits of scaffolding/support beams for sci-fi scatter terrain, plenty of pungi stakes for war scenes, and good horns/spikes for making dire animals...
Fragments of a drifting starship or orbital station wreck, docking arms on a more intact station or small planetoid base, support cradles for parked battlemechs, extra spiky bits for Chaos warrior types...

I've kinda fell back to collecting prepainted minis (gotta say the recent 2017 and up wizkids D&D minis have gotten pretty nice). Put my resin printer to work for dungeon dressing like barrels and crates etc. I definitely need a dedicated space for my mini painting, hopefully I can get back to it.

I bought a ton of those including Orcus and the Ancient Huge White Dragon.

I seem to have acquired a new project... Coworker has just gotten into D&D and made a wood elf druid with robe, leather armor, staff and longsword. He's going to be emailing me his character pic sometime this weekend (hopefully), but I'm pretty sure I'll be able to find a decent base figure somewhere in the Reaper catalogue to mod instead of sculpting it from scratch...
