It's not exactly innocence, she was having an affair with Serenity's first mechanic ... in the engine room! I think it was more an honesty and refusal to let the world stop them from enjoying life. Which can seem like innocence sometimes.
It isn't exactly guilt either. One of the unique things about the show is that women in it are allowed to enjoy sex without it being treated as dirty, or like some kind of pathology. Kaylee is sensual.
As for an RPG, Margaret Weiss Productions is apparently going to release a non-d20 RPG tied in with the movie:

It looks like it'll work on a system whereby you roll a given die to hit a target number, and the die you roll is your skill, with die steps for modifiers -- d4 to d6, for example, for point blank range. Shades of both Deadlands and Alternity there. Still, it's liable to be a simple system to use. However, there are already other options available, including:

Here you will find a d20 Future conversion taken right from the MSRD, and including a brief module:

The FireflyWiki has links to Firefly conversions for both Unknown Armies and for Savage Worlds:

It's also a good place to look for details out of which to build your own conversion, including available technology, culture, and lexicon.
There is a WoTC thread discussing, among other things, various characters' stats in d20:

This site has a Firefly version of the d20 Modern character sheets, printable cardboard stand-ups for Firefly characters and simplified Serenity deckplans to use with d20's 5-foot step combat scheme:
