First Time "Playing" D&D 3.X

Scribble

First Post
Hah... So pretty soon I'll be playing my very first 3.anything D&D character.

Up until this point I've always DMed. Even in other editions I'd say 95% of my D&D gaming experience has been as the DM.

But I will finally after ll this time pop my character cherry. ;)

Wish me luck or give me advice or just laugh at me.

Wow. I guess I'm lucky my college gaming club alternates weeks, so I get a chance to play D&D instead of making me run D&D and GURPS every week (Fridays and Sundays).

Eh... I never really force the issue. I like running the game really. Guess I like being in charge. ;)

Oh, I certainly like running games also (Why would I, if I didn't?). I like being in charge, creating a world, setting up situations for PCs. But burnout would come that much faster if I ran D&D every week.

I am taking my first break from DMing for about a year now. Its very refreshing. I think its good to get perspectives from both sides of the table, but also think that its fun to not have to think about what happens in the next game, just what your character is going to do.

So, what are you going to be?
